Soak up the Cuban culture

When you walk around Miami you will enter some areas where it will feel like that you have just strolled in to Latin America without ever boarding a plane! You will be able to experience some fantastic Cuban culture and food. It may feel like you are in the minority if you don’t speak Spanish, but don’t worry, just soak it all up. If you are a Spanish speaker, then you will be in heaven from the word go, people just presume that you can speak spanish here!

Get ready to party

There is a party atmosphere all year round in Miami. There is something to suit all budgets, if you can manage to get past the bouncers and into one of the top clubs then you will have a night to remember. If you like to party then make sure you have kept lots of energy for Miami, you won’t have partied like this before!

Do the touristy thing

When in Miami you have to head out one day and take in everything that is on offer for tourists. One of the most interesting things you will see is the Miami Seaquarium. There is something there for you to see, whether you are a couple, solo traveller or with the whole family.

Dress well

If there’s something that the people of Miami know how to do well it’s fashion! When you walk around you will be blown away by how well dressed everyone is. It doesn’t mean that you have to look like you’re walking down the catwalk everyday, but be prepared to feel a little out of place if you don’t make an effort. Wear clean bright colours and remember to bring a good pair of sunglasses with you.

Bring your credit cards

Visiting such a fantastic city will not be cheap. If you’re not used to expensive prices back home then you may be a little surprised by what you find in South Beach. Try to pack all of the essential items you need before you travel. It doesn’t have to be an expensive holiday, but remember to treat yourself!
