As these ruins are placed atop a large ridge that is close to the Guatemalan border, amazing views of the countryside and the nearby Mopan River can be enjoyed.
This peninsula lies in the southern portion of Belize and is home to some of the most beautiful and well-maintained beaches in the entire country. Also, there are a number of coral outcroppings to be found offshore; many of these protected from boats and local fishermen.
